A temptation is an act that looks appealing to an individual. It is usually used to describe acts with negative connotations and as such, tends to lead a person to regret such actions, for various reasons: legal, social, psychological (including feeling guilt), health, economic, etc. Temptation also describes the coaxing or inducing a person into commiting such an act, by manipulation or otherwise of curiosity, desire or fear of loss.
"Temptation" is usually used in a loose sense to describe actions which indicate a lack of self control, such as procrastination or eating junk food.
In advertising, temptation is a theme common to many of the marketing and advertising techniques used to make products more attractive for purchase by consumers.

In a Christian religious context, "temptation" refers to the inducement to commit an act of sin or immorality; in a strictly Biblical sense, the word means evil that is tempting, or the state of being tempted by Satan.

it's going good
I'm working 2 different part time jobs. Monday & Friday for the old boss, yet I've never worked side by side with him in his office. It's always been contract work from my home or on-site in some distant company. This is a great chance to show him what I can do & who I really am. Some data base clean-up, simple stuff & a little work with customers. It's nice to be working with my old program, yet I am quickly reminded of all the old problems that come with this familiarity.
On Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday I have a job through a temp agency doing a some payables & posting of receivables for a floor covering company. It's basically a no brainer and nice to be processing data again, although I can sure feel I'm built for more. Maybe I'll get some carpet or floor tiles for a good price and really make this 2 month assignment pay.
It's funny, with either job 5 days a week, I'd be unhappy. These short takes will give me relief right I before it. Thanks God.
After that, so much change is on my horizon. It's thrilling and scary. I wish I could be more excited about going through the natural evolution of life. ahhhh to grow, tis a bit painful.
