Ledges State Park
Valentine's Day hike.
I'm heading down from the high ridge trail.
Peas creek flows through the park with several places cars get to drive through the water.
Temperatures broke records with highs in the upper 60's - what a treat! The wind was really blowing and kept me feeling just perfect, not too warm, not too cold.
I probably should have spent more time stretching according to my calves 2 days later.

Wow what an awesome day for a hike! Wish I could have joined ya :) It's very sad about Miss Rodgers but she picked a very nice spot to go out in. When we lived in Story City I don't remember knowing that there were any parks like this in Iowa. Well that was long ago and back then I was just happy to have an old unused hog trough to swim in on hot days! :) You just have to Love Iowa memories! ~Hugs, me
